By Air: The closest airport for those flying to Andaman is Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair. The Andaman and Nicobar islands’ capital, Port Blair, has air service to Chennai and Kolkata. As a result, if you’re going from Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, or any other city, you must first arrive in Kolkata or Chennai, from which you can catch a flight to Andaman.

Note– Direct flights to Andaman operate only from Kolkata and Chennai. If you’re flying from any other city, you have to take a connecting flight.
